About the business
Design by Structure is a creative brand agency set up to help tech businesses use their unique brand to deliver growth. The company was founded twenty years ago by Jesse Swash and John Galpin, after experience in private equity backed business both in good and bad times. Jesse and John spent two decades building and growing the company. With succession always at the back of their minds, they identified employee ownership as the perfect solution to align everyone’s interests: realising value for the founders, rewarding the team, and creating a great future for talented people in years to come.

Like so many of our clients, Design by Structure are looking to harness the power of employee ownership both to deliver change – and to keep things the same. Jesse and John continue to lead the business so as to develop future leaders in the years to come, fine tuning and delivering their detailed succession plans according to a schedule that’s best for them and for the business.

We’re proud to have helped Design by Structure identify the best structure for their business, by listening, pinpointing the objectives of founders, employees and company, and creating the right EOT transaction for them.
