When is the deadline for filing share plan annual returns?

The deadline is 6 July following the end of the tax year. So returns for share plan activities carried out in the tax year ending 5 April must be submitted by 6 July that same year.

HMRC’s system does not accept early submissions, but preparation can start well in advance.
